"Update: Learning that the suspect is an Asian person and feeling so many things. Confusion, anger, heartache. Gun violence . . . mental health, access to resources . . . there’s so many things im feeling but maybe first and foremost is that mass shootings affect us all no matter where we are, no matter who we are. You know the deal by now, we call, we write, we grieve, we rest, we . . . it’s the same thing over and over.
