Born in Quy Nhon, Vietnam, Song Anh immigrated to the States at the age of 7. Growing up between two cultures, she has always sought to bridge the gap and foster inclusivity in many aspects of her life. She is the daughter of Minh & Hue. Song Anh now resides on the land of the Catawba, Cheraw, Sugeree, Wateree, and Waxhaw Peoples. She joined Feetures in 2016 and is the Vice President of Product. She is responsible for leading the company's strategic development of performance products that help people perform their best. Her leadership extends beyond product —Song Anh is also deeply involved in Feetures’ Social Impact initiatives, where she works to create inclusive spaces and guide the sustainability efforts. She joined the RIDC in 2021 as part of the Brand Subgroup and have been a Board member since 2022. Recently, she co-founded Pace of the East with Ayumi Nagano, a fitness group created to foster an active community spirit. At home, Song Anh is a proud new mother to her daughter, Sunny. During her downtime, she supports her husband, Tony, in his culinary endeavors as they believe food brings people together. She also enjoys playing pickleball with her parents and encouraging them to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. Song Anh’s journey is one of constant growth, cultural appreciation, and commitment to creating positive change.

Brian Bell serves as Strava’s Vice President of Global Communications and Social Impact and is a member of the organization's executive management team. In this role, Brian is responsible for shaping the global communications strategy and leading societal impact initiatives like Metro and Strive for More. Since joining in 2021, he has cultivated key programs such as Camp Strava and the aforementioned Strive for More program.
Prior to joining Strava, Brian gained experience with notable brands across various industries, including consumer packaged goods, non-profit organizations, quick-service restaurants, retail, and the NFL. His professional journey includes roles at CEC Entertainment, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation, Glazer Family Foundation, Wingstop Restaurants, Dr Pepper Snapple Group (now Keurig Dr Pepper), and Pier 1.
Notably, during his tenure as the Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Glazer Family Foundations, Brian launched a groundbreaking initiative—the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Girls in Football Scholarship Fund. This $250,000 commitment supports graduating high school seniors involved in organized football, with plans to enroll in a full-time accredited four-year college or university.
While at Keurig Dr Pepper, Brian executed popular campaigns like Snapple’s “Real Fact.” He brought to life “Real Fact #444: The Statue of Liberty wears a size 879 sandal,” delivering a life-sized sandal to Lady Liberty. The campaign generated coverage in top-tier business and broadcast outlets, including CNN, NBC, CNBC, and GMA.
Most recently, Brian was recognized as a PR Week 40 Under 40 honoree. Additionally, he actively contributes to the Public Relations Society of America's Dallas chapter and the National Association of Black Journalists. Brian served as a guest lecturer at Loyola University and is a member of the 12th Man Foundation at Texas A&M University. Fun fact: he recently completed the 2023 New York City marathon.

Raised in New York City, Glendean Hamilton is the Senior Director for Collaborations at the Bloomberg Center for Cities at Harvard University. She leads relationship management and partnerships strategy, as well as special projects tied to organizational strategy and team development. She has held previous roles in leadership roles in education, as a 6th grade English teacher, and philanthropy, as an impact investment fund partner .
A life-long athlete, Glendean played tennis for much of her adolescence. The pandemic introduced her to the thrill and confidence that distance running brings. Currently living in the Boston area, she enjoys the community of local run crews. She is an RRCA Certified Run Coach with MYSTRYDE Train and specializes in coaching new runners toward their big goals no matter the distance.

Jason Faustino currently leads collaborations for Saucony as Sr. Brand Manager. With a B.A. degree in Social Work from the University at Buffalo, Jason served time as president at the school’s Amnesty International chapter, and at Saucony is a founder of Concrete Flower, an employee resource group centered around DE&I, while also a member of Wolverine World Wide's Diversity Action Council.
Formerly the GM/Creative Director as an original founder of NY sneaker/fashion lifestyle boutique – Extra Butter, Jason was born in Long Island, NY and now resides in Boston, MA with his wife Jacqueline, and their two beloved rabbits. He spends his time outside of work as a diehard hockey player and cinephile alongside his love for fashion and footwear.

Kathy is the CEO of Pacers Running, an award-winning running specialty retailer and events production company in the greater Washington DC region. In her role, Kathy is responsible for strategy, brand and marketing, events, and administration.
Kathy is an SGB (Sporting Goods Business) 40 under 40 recipient and was named 2019 Best Straight Ally by the Washington Blade, a national LGBTQ+ news organization. She has served as President of the Running Industry Association and is a co-founder of empowerun, a women’s industry networking and leadership event.

Born in Mexico City, Sergio Avila grew up running and exploring in the Chihuahuan Desert. Sergio is a husband, son, brother, uncle, a runner, a wildlife biologist and social justice advocate. Sergio works for the Sierra Club in the Outdoor Activities Team, supporting staff and volunteers across the country’s 64 Chapters in their mission to connect all people with the natural world, by maintaining and enhancing diversified, superior, volunteer-run outdoor activities. Sergio has worked on environmental conservation along the U.S.-Mexico borderlands, as a scientist and facilitator of bi-national efforts. Sergio enjoys trail running, gardening, bird and butterfly watching, and looking for wildlife tracks. He has lived in O'odham and Yaqui lands (Tucson, Arizona) since 2004 with his wife Jenny, their three cats Lupe, Carlos, and Pancho, and Toby, the desert tortoise.

With his business partner, Victor created Renegade Running as a welcoming hub in Oakland, CA, that champions representation for people of color in the running world. This isn’t just a retail store—it’s a destination for people to connect, explore, and push the boundaries of what running can be for all.
With over 20 years of public education, community organizing, and competitive running experience, Victor knows how to build and deepen connections while understanding the needs of our communities.

20-year retail and merchandising veteran, Tai Neal, Vice President of Strategy for Foot Locker’s Leading Education and Economic Development (LEED) Initiative, the company’s commitment to invest in, amplify and empower the Black community. LEED combines her love for athletics and fashion with her deep commitment to driving diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Tai, a native of Harlem, New York and Hampton University graduate, has an expansive retail career that includes athletic and luxury brands. Her experience includes global marketing, omni channel, strategic planning, and revenue growth for brands such as Ermenegildo Zegna and Foot Locker. In 2015, Tai became a SGB Media’s 40 under 40 award recipient for her leadership and making a difference in the sporting goods and active lifestyle industry.
Today, Tai leads a team committed to investing in, amplifying, and empowering the Black community and is excited to join RIDC to help the industry make strides in diversity. With a great passion for running established in 2009 and completing the New York City marathon in 2011 – Tai is well equipped to create and implement change.
Whether running or working to create change within the communities Foot Locker and the LEED Initiative serve, Tai believes that providing visibility to youth from underserved communities gives them an example of what that can one day become.
