A time was had!

THE COOKOUT, by the RIDC, extends a warm welcome to all Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, as well as to our engaged allies who are committed to actively working towards the mission of the RIDC.

To be invited to THE COOKOUT signifies being entrusted with a valued place at our table, within our community, and alongside our family. This invitation comes with a responsibility to respect the cultures present and to nurture connections that extend beyond this singular occasion. 

We had a great time hosting THE COOKOUT during The Running Event this year.

We are so grateful to our Stride Leaders, Altra, ASICS, Brooks, Feetures, GU, HOKA, New Balance, Saucony, and Superfeet, for helping make this event possible. Your generosity fueled new friendships, partnerships, and long-lasting memories. A night that was truly “good for the soul.”
