Making Strides Live Podcast

Exclusive live edition run podcast with Stefanie Flippin and Carolyn Su and special guest, Mirna Valerio.

‘About the Making Strides Podcast Hosts: Both Stefanie and Carolyn are women who stumbled into the sport of running in their 20s, and both women have since established themselves as forces of change within the community.

Stef is a professional trail and ultrarunner, coach, and writer based out of Colorado, where she also runs her private practice as a foot & ankle surgeon. Carolyn is a writer and marathoner based out of Boston, and she is most known for her advocacy work through the Instagram platform, @DiverseWeRun.

‘Making Strides’ is a space to share their experiences as BIPOC, female runners, as well as a space to discuss the nuances that come with their perspectives: safety, sponsorships and contract negotiations, mental health, current events in the running world and beyond, etc.’

Runners Hospitality

‘Runners Hospitality is the idea that no matter where in the world we as runners go to run, we will be greeted with love and welcomed by fellow runners. And our next stop is Boston!

We wanted to make sure local runners and those flying in from out of town weren't out there alone after conquering Heartbreak Hill, so we are taking care of the post run vibes. You just need to show up.

We will have more details to come but know we are working hard to make sure this night is just as special as your day running those 26.2 miles.’
