Help Us Collect And Measure Data On Racial Diversity In The Running Industry
Have you read the news? Together with Bentley University, we are doing groundbreaking research for the running industry.
Earlier this summer, we announced two big research projects as part of our 5-year strategic plan to help the running industry collect and measure data on racial diversity.
The first research project, supported by New Balance, focuses on the current state of diversity with regard to road running participation and employment.
The second research project, supported by Altra, Brooks, On, Patagonia, Salomon, Saucony, Smartwool, and Strava, focuses on comparing access, inclusion, and belonging in trail and road running and unmet product needs.
Here's how you can help.
For companies: Please take our employment survey to help us in this work (and achieve our mission). The survey is live and will remain open until November 11. The link has all the information you need, but please feel free to email us at hello@runningdiversity.com if you have any additional questions.
For BIPOC individuals (who run on trails at least once a month): Please join our upcoming focus groups to support the second research project mentioned above. Selected participants will be compensated for their time. 🤝🏾
For everyone: Our next webinar will discuss the racial diversity that currently exists in running participation and will explore the outlook for a future that will be driven by growth in BIPOC communities. This will be an interactive discussion, and we hope to see you there!
